Our programs are specifically designed to elevate writing proficiency, deepen language acquisition, and build expressive confidence in Multilingual Learners.
The most effective way to support reclassification and long-term academic success is through writing-first instruction. When students develop the ability to express themselves with written words, their reading comprehension, oral fluency, and engagement soar.

Our unique two-part structure is ideal for EL populations:
Part One: Collaborative Group Authorship Whole-class or small-group writing builds vocabulary, lowers affective filters, and allows students to generate ideas in a supportive setting.
Part Two: Independent Writing & Publishing Students take ownership of their ideas, apply language structures, and become confident communicators—resulting in original, publishable work that reflects authentic student voice.
For migrant students who experience interrupted education, our highly visual, flexible format helps them reengage and catch up without relying on prior content knowledge.

All WRiTE BRAiN curricula, instructional programs, and activity-based resources are intentionally designed to align with California state standards, including the California English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) Standards.
WRiTE BRAiN offerings support the instructional shifts outlined in the California ELA/ELD Framework and are appropriate for use with English Learners, multilingual learners, and other student populations assessed through ELPAC.
Programs may be implemented in ways that support district and site-level Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals, including literacy development, student engagement, equity, and student voice.
