<dedicatedTo><![CDATA[My little sister]]></dedicatedTo>
<dedicatedBecause><![CDATA[She has a cute imagination since she is little, and I feel like she would enjoy this story.]]></dedicatedBecause>
<page2>
<block1><![CDATA[It all started when Amanda's mom gave Amanda a bag with seeds in it. Amanda and her brother, Jose, grabbed their shovels and dug in the dirt. They wanted to plant a big tree, so they put a lot of effort into digging, and once they finished, they both went inside the house. ]]></block1>
</page2>
<page4>
<block1><![CDATA[A couple of hours later, Amanda heard boys playing soccer outside. When she opened the door and looked outside her house, she noticed the boys were playing where she had planted the seeds.]]></block1>
</page4>
<page5>
<block1><![CDATA[The boy playing outside looked nervous as Amanda approached with an angry expression. After they accidentally kicked the soccer ball where the tree had been planted, Amanda snapped at her brother, “Really, Jose? After all that hard work digging?” Jose apologized, but Amanda walked away still upset.]]></block1>
</page5>
<page7>
<block1><![CDATA[Later that night, she decided to go look at it. She took her lamp and got some more seeds to try to plant the tree again.]]></block1>
</page7>
<page9>
<block1><![CDATA[Amanda fell asleep, hoping the tree would grow well, when a pretty saint in a white dress suddenly appeared.]]></block1>
</page9>
<page11>
<block1><![CDATA[The saint has a gold heart and says, “ Don't worry, everything will be fine, and you will grow a beautiful, tall tree. Don't give up!]]></block1>
</page11>
<page12>
<block1><![CDATA[Amanda looks at her, shocked, and smiles. She thought in her head, “Whoa, she’s beautiful.”]]></block1>
</page12>
<page13>
<block1><![CDATA[After the saint spoke to her, Amanda began watering the tree every day.]]></block1>
</page13>
<page14>
<block1><![CDATA[It didn’t matter how cold or hot it was. She continued to water the tree; she never gave up.]]></block1>
</page14>
<page15>
<block1><![CDATA[They slowly started to see the tree grow, and they felt so happy.]]></block1>
</page15>
<page18>
<block1><![CDATA[Finally, after a long time of waiting, it grew big and pretty.]]></block1>
</page18>
<page19>
<block1><![CDATA[Amanda always sat down by the tree thinking about what the saint said. She learned to never give up, no matter how long things could take. She was so grateful that the tree ended up being her comfort tree; she loved to sit under it and paint the sky at night.]]></block1>
